Wing Loading:
Refers to the relationship between a canopy's planform area and it's suspended weight. It is usually expressed in units of lbs per square foot. To calculate this, divide the total system weight (jumper, clothing and all equipment) by the canopy's surface area.

Example:
Jumper 150 lbs
Clothes 5 lbs
Camera helmet 6 lbs
Equipment 15 lbs
Total system weight 176 lbs

Canopy size 240 ft2

Wing Loading =176/240=.73 lbs / ft 2

Ideal wing loading on the Mojo BASE canopies is between .7 lbs / ft 2and .8 lbs / ft 2
